MB issued a small brochure listing all the changes for 2005. If memory serves, a scan of the changes for the coupe was posted on mbklasse.

Some of the info is on the MB website itself: http://www.mbusa.com/main/container....t.jsp&menu=3_0

some things i changed,

you can get the sun roof peice with the plastic tab on top to get rid of the sunroof wind sound.

I also got the rear hatch plastics redone to kill some of the creaking... but that didnt do THAT much..... most of the sounds come from the sunroof and the rear pillars.

not sure what else we can really change.

I want to know about subframe bushings, improved components (control arms, etc.), tie-rods, anything about the chassis bolt-ons or bushing, geometry, that will improve handling.

I can't. I didn't bother with the extended warranty. The parts for this car are inexpensive enough, that the headaches of "is this aftermarket" isn't worth it.

If youre friends with someone at your stealer, ask to see the parts lists and schematics for the 05 vs. the 02. I doubt the stuff is really dramatically different, just tuned different. Sure did make a difference though. Drive an 02, and you think, nice solid MB handling- unflappable at high speed. Drive an 05 and you think...BMW.

Its really that good. Steering feels faster too!

Agree with Outland -- the changes do make a difference, and the steering is faster. If you are interested, you can find my own comparison test of 2004 and 2005 coupes last Summer in this thread.

As for suspension changes, I can't help you directly, but here is what I found in a February 2004 article in TopGear, the car mag:
"Springs, dampers and steering rack have seen revision too. Result: a chassis that's more involving than before. Driving the Sports Coupe, I find a supple, composed ride that's high on body control and low on harshness."
