coilover kits for c230 sports sedan?
h&r has different springs for the c230 vs c240/c320 (per their application chart) whereas intrax uses the same on w203's.
anyone have any insight on this? i cant tell what will fit on the c230 sports sedan (2004) :T

The chassis is the same, so doesn't really make that much sense to me that H&R would say that. Did you talk to a tech or just a CSR? Just a hint (cuz I used to work Customer Service as a manager), Tier 1 cusomer service reps usually don't have very much information available to them. Most of the time, they are only provided with a limited amount of information. This is because, surprisingly enough, a lot of people are satisfied with initial responses (standard answers).
If you talked to a tech, then I'm clueless as to why the H&R set up wouldn't work.
i figure it would work since it is the same chasis.
other companies make springs that fit on any w203 chasis regardless if its a coupe or sedan. doesnt make much sense to me.
i think itll fit, but i dont want to drive a good hour and have the installer tell me it wont fit. argh.
if you do a search on coilovers (in the w203 forum exclusively), I 'm sure you'll see a lot of posts from people about their set ups.
There have been a few people with 230k ss that have installed coilovers already.

I have actually spoke to that chick at H&R also, she does not know much, lol.
Anyone you speak to at the manufactures will normally say the springs or coilovers will "fit" but they are not the ideal setup since each springs are specifically made to match the vehicle weight, and weight distribution accordingly.
