Brakes up for change looking to upgrade
I am due brakes and I want to get some slotted or drilled rotors and new callipers ... what the most cost effective way to go about this?
what do I do about the drums in the back?
Where is the best source for the AMG upgrade?

If you don't mind slightly used, I think forum member GGong5150 still has his set of AMG brakes available. He bought Brembo BBK shortly after getting the AMG's.

Trim? That's a scam. Contest that with MBUSA.
I have StopTech slotted rotors, Porterfield R4S Pads, Stainless steel lines, and Motul fluid. Let me know if you want to me up and I can demo my brakes for you. OEM sized, front and rear so it's a complete upgrade, not just the front, and it stops better (*** far as I can tell) then the AMG C32 Caliper upgrade. Depends on what you want it for though.

Probably will have to...$343 for the wind deflector replacement?!!! thats not even the part!
how much are the StopTech slotted rotors, Porterfield R4S Pads? I just want it for normal braking and an appearance effect, unless I was going to get new callipers and then I would fork out the cost for better braking.

I paid $622 for the 4 rotors, lines, and hi-temp fluid. You might not need the fluid or lines. I then paid 257 for Porterfields (they are expensive). Cheaper pads can be had that stop well, these produce less dust under normal braking conditions.
You can call StopTech for current pricing.

I paid 795 for the complete AMG brake setup. Works really well. 13.6 inch cross drilled rotors and 4 piston Brembo calipers with stock MB pads. All parts are MB parts for a C32.
