Hood ornament question
I'm going to replace my hood ornament on my '05 C240K sedan with a flat badge. I'm going to try to sell my original hood ornament. Does anyone know what all models/years it will fit?

Should fit all 2001+ w203 models because I don't think there were any changes to the hood (with exception to the C55)

GOD search this forum and you'll find the answer! Better yet, you could have bought a CHEAP car that doesn't have one. I'm installing one on my mazda because I miss my benz designed hood!

yeah, you and 500 other people who have replaced original hood ornaments on this forum !

better off selling it to a punk kid who was going to tear one off somebody else's hood. Save them the trouble. Highest bid on one of these should top out at about $0.79

Looks like avg. price for a an MB hood ornament is about $20 on eBay.
So, no one knows this one willl fit other MB's besides 01+ W203's?

Oh really, genius? I searched "hood ornament sell", "hood ornament value" and "hood ornament price" and found NOTHING regarding what I might expect to get for selling mine. Can you do better?

me, i prefer the hood ornament over the flat emblem because it helps me determine when to stop when i park the car in the garage

Most people would find the coupe's sport grille + a stand-up hood ornament gaudy, but considering your car's color, it would probably fit right in
