'06 BMW 330i KILLER - '06 MB C350 with a fantastic sticker price $38,000 - Official

'06 MB C350 will not only be faster than the brand spankin' new BMW 330i, but also very competitively priced. Way to go MB. The C230 was my choice for my next car, but I can't pass on the '06 C350 with a beautiful and I mean beautiful 7 Speed Auto Tranny. Even the 6 Speed Manual will be 50% beter than the '05 Models. AMAZING!!!

the MB weighs 3360, and puts out 232 lb ft of torque, against the BMW with 3075 in weight, and 254 of torque. This is what their website says

it's one of those things where we'll just have to wait and see. i've read that the new C350 should see 0-60 in the low 6 second range, yet the current 330i ZHP sees close to mid 5 seconds. i doubt bmw will make it slower. C350 will definitely be a sweet car however. that extra power will really make it feel more complete all around in terms of comfort, performance and handling. but bmw's inline 6's are underated and until i see some real numbers, it's hard to judge. i know bmw is out for infiniti's G35 coupe and sedan since not only has infiniti been able to manufacture a car just as quick, potentially quicker with the G35coupe manual, but also handle just as well and at a lower cost. should be interesting though. no doubt the performance leaders of the class will be the G35, C350 and 330i

2002 C230 Coupe(M111)
The new 3 series is pretty dull looking.

Oh well. Wait 3 years and a C350 will be going for about 22-25K...and should be a pretty damn good deal at that price. And much better looking than the bungled, er bangled 3 series. The outgoing car is much better looking.

most of the new 3 series technology and engineering is based on the current 7 and 5 series so most of the kinks should be worked out. but typically with all new models, there is the possibility of encountering some problems, but i think the new 3 should be good to go.
