I've seen quite a few photos of the W204....this one was published in Popular Mechanics....is this the real thing? or is this an S class?
at least it doesn't look like a photochop!

That is way too big to be a C-class. It looks even bigger than an E-class.

Possibly the real thing!
The Popular Mechanics issue has regarded this as "the" NEW C Class. The S Class has already been changed and is not even close to this picture, it is extremely large and very nice as I have sat in one and looked at one up close, last month. The New S Class is an awsome car.
So this is possibly the real thing, the new C Class. I actually like it and the size it nice too. However we'll have to wait and see, but it should be very soon.

Americans want larger cars, and I think Mercedes is going to deliver it. Look how much Chrysler have grown since DC took over. Mercedes has been floating other platforms as "starter sets" for the rest of the world to whet their appitite for the Mercedes brand. I look to all three sales classes c, E, & S to expand in length. Just like the fifties, cars are getting longer, lower, and wider each year.
