I saw one this morning (April 5) in Amsterdam at a stoplight in the opposite direction. Silver with the on-grille star. When I first saw it I thought it was a new CL but then my brain registered the 4 doors. I have to admit that it looks much better in person than in pics... I got the same reaction to it as when I first saw the W203. I like this car.

About a month ago, just as it was getting dark, my wife and I were coming back from LA to Irvine and I came up on a car with all of that black tape hiding the body. It was hidden so well it took me a while to figure out it was the new C-class. I actually had to slow down and get behind him. Once I figured out it was the C-class. I pulled out my camera and tried to shoot some photos, but the guy jumped off at the next exit and I was too far away to do the same.
I thought it was strange they were still hiding the car behind tape when all of the photos are out and the car is in Europe now. Anyway, i was impressed by the appearance. It seems so much bigger, which is mostly by design as it is only slightly larger than the previous generation.
I am waiting just long enough and then we are going to sell my wifes 2006 Black on Black Boxster to get her a new C-class, but the Bluetech sounds, great, just taking too long to get them approved here in CA.
