So would the express card adapter work in the car? Or does it need to be the same one that was posted in this thread. I'm finding it easier to find the express card adapter in stores.

Those that have the MM Package,
You can use the new "SD-HC" format
HC- High Capacity. I purchased a sandisk 6-1 card reader $15-
(make sure it can read SDHC) and also a 4gb SDHC (on sale at CC for $49-)
and the head unit can read it no problem. Hols about 1000 songs in mp3 format and about 1200-1400 in wma format. It's also very fast.

Where can if find this 6 in 1 Sandisk reader in Ontario? Checked Bestbuy, Future Shop, Vistek, etc... no where to be found. I picked up the Sandisk express card which is too small and I have to return it.
Any suggestions for the GTA area would be greatly appreciated.

I currently use a Compact Flash card with PCMCIA card adapter and it works like a charm. No need to worry about SDHC compatibility issues.
Bought an 8 GB (280 speed; for fast read/write) and songs are accessible instantly when i scroll through folders.

Thanks, I've already picked up a 4gig SDHC card, so I'm kinda stuck looking for the right adapter that will be compatible with this card.

picked up my card reader for $19.99 at Best Buy last week. it's the same one pictured above and supports SD-HC, thanks to this thread

Picked up the Sandisk 6-1 adapter this afternoon, plugged in my SDHC card and inserted in the PCMCIA slot in the car. Works like a charm! I prefer using the card better than my ipod. The SDHC card can be pulled out without ejecting the Sandisk adapter.
