hey does the c350 come with an alarm system? if so what are the features it has??? does it need upgrading or is it sufficient for piece of mind for most cities?

what are you looking for? the Smartkey system is almost impossible to defeat as far as stealing the car outright. Othewise, no alarm will stop someone from breaking a window and steaking things out of your car.

what type of alarm is armed when you lock the door?

like if someone is trying to break in to try to steal it or try to get stuff out of it, i want to be alarmed so I can hear it from whereever I am if nearby...

I think it armed for the following problems:
-windows reminded opened
-attempt to break windows or sunroof
-attempt to break hood or trunk
-attempt to tow

Read manul, it describes most of alarm features

There is an audible alarm. I was in the showroom at my dealer a while back and wanted to get into a 300 Lux. The doors were locked but the windows open, so I reached in and manually unlocked the door. When I opened the door it quickly became one of those "Wanna get away..." moments.

Oh that has happened to me but at an Acura dealership out of all places! Its one of my biggest pet peves, its a show room, you should be able to open cars and look at them, sit in them, feel them. My MB dealership always has the cars unlocked on the show room, even on the Mabachs.

Dude... Have you heard the sound the car makes when you press that Panic Button?! OMG! Try it and you'll know what I mean!

The toughest, meanest thieves would have a heart attack when they hear that "ShriekinG" sound coming from your C.

It's soo unique, too.. Haven't heard anything like that since I started driving.
I guess that will let you know it's "your" car sounding off "wherever you are".
