I was wondering this as well before I placed my order, I did happen to see a Capri Blue Luxury model at the dealership, but it had the tan interior which I despise so I didn't look over it that well, I went with Obisidan Black instead.

Capri blue is not even offered in Canada... We do get a Tanzanite Blue which is a dark (royal) blue. We also don't get Pewter Metallic, but Cubanite Silver instead.

I wonder if those are the same colours.

Why does MB use different names for the same colour? Is it the same colour code? (I assume yes).

I'm not a fan of Capri Blue. To me, it has a purple tint to it. I searched long and hard to find a W203 in Diamond Black. They only offered this color for 2005 (and may be 06). Sure wish they'd bring it back.

Color codes remain the same no matter what. tansanitblau is German I think. I think MB thinks the Americans would rather have a color called "Capri Blue" than "Tanzanite Blue".

Why do you spell color with an 'ou'?

So are you saying that the Americans can't spell "Cubanite", so MBUSA had to change the name to "Capri"?

Interesting... the trunk is trimmed differently than mine:
(1) nook on the left hand side with netting
(2) hard plastic strip on the innermost part of the trunk

yea, MBUSA thinks we americans are not educated in geology. all those cubanite, tanzanite are probably confusing.... the only "nite" stone we know are the kryptonite...
