50+mpg for 2009
Bluetec E-Classes will arrive in European showrooms from December, and now Mercedes has revealed the technology will go into the C-Class from 2009. Two models will be available, a C250 returning 57.7mpg fuel economy, and a C300 hybrid with 61.4mpg.

Is it as refined as the V6 diesel? Not quite, but the difference is small. And it's neither slow nor noisy.

60mpg is nothing to the japanese. 09 prius is already looking at 80mpg.

true but in Norway the c200 is about 60,000 Nok cheaper, this means you can tick more option box's, if you spend about 10,000 Nok with Carlsson for a CD20 Power Box you get all the missing hp's back.
