08 C300 "Leonidas" 01 E430 "Danielle"
im 19, im driving my second mercedes, and yes my parents paid for both. The first car was a 03 C230 Sportscoupe, which my father paid for. The thing was a total lemon, to this day i regret buying my first car without knowing anything about cars. I got rid of it after a little over a year of ownership, right after i sold it back to the dealership i found out it was in such bad condition that it had to be scrapped. my parents (mainly my father) bought me the 08 C300 for my birthday, on the condition that i live in dallas for one more year, and attend a college of his choosing.
worth it.
worth it.

I almost wet myself laughing while reading this yesterday and now I'm at it again today.
A Wolsley? God, that's even worse than a damned Austin Marina, one of which came across three lanes just to run into my stopped MB250, long ago.
4.5 gallons of oil in 600 miles? Solved the insect problem for miles around, I'll bet.
Peugeot. Long ago a friend bought a 403. Couldn't kill the thing and it had a pretty good ride but all that French plastic inside looked like hell. And I think the 505 diesel killed the US Pug market.

42 years, automotive testing engineer. It was little bit hard to find 6 speed manual around here (in MI)...
I'm wondering what is your opinion are we going to be fine with OEM four season Michelin tires in the snow or winter tires will be "a must have"? I know that lots of you guys, most likely, are not going to be worry about it, but for "the rest of us" in the nothern states this should be legitimate question...

43 yrs old.... fourth conscutive MB, C300 sits in the stable next to the 06 ML350, which replaced the 05 E320, before the E320 I drove a 72 220D for 500K miles (what a fun car).
But heres why; I only buy CPO w <15K miles automatically gets me a great price and 100K mile warranty and free loaners anytime they need service....plus its a Benz.......

Don't want to start a war here...
If you pay for your own car and
1. you live at home
2. your parents pay for part or all of your school, rent, gas etc
Then you don't actually pay your own car.
Just want to remind you to be grateful to your parents for what they do and take care of them when they are older.
Sorry, I sound like an old man..........
