What kind of floor mats did you buy?

Did you purchase them from the dealership? Pep Boys? Did you buy the rubber kind or the regular carpet one.

I want to get the carpet but I find them don't fully come up to the beginning of my driver's seat. Maybe I am not looking in the right place. I want a loong floor mat. I know the driver's ones are usually long but I always find they stop short of the seat.

I didn't pick up the car yet. I know they sell them at the dealership. The all weather mats... I'm not talking about the regular carpet mats that come with the car. Sometimes people buy mats to put on top of the MB mats to keep them clean.

I'm wondering that same thing. I'll certainly need some winter floor mats here in MN.

Has anyone seen a MB branded winter floor mat? Maybe an AMG one?!

I recommend the MB all-weather floor mats; they fit perfectly.

Did you get those for the w204? A member stated on another post that the MB all weather mats for the w204 were very low quality, and recomended waiting for the Weather Tech mats.

Can you post post pictures of your mats?

The MB all weather mats look pretty good. They are a perfect fit and you can get them thrown in when you make your deal. The downsides are that they are quite pricey for floor mats ($119 on MB website at the moment) and as mentioned in another thread, they don't have a very thick rim. This doesn't really bother me because I got mine thrown in with the deal, and you shouldn't have that much muck on your shoes if your getting into a Benz anyways! I always sit down and bang my feet together outside of the car to knock the snow off them first, helps keep down on the melted snow water effect.

I purchased the MB all-weather mats and returned them. They were filthy and I couldn't even wash the dirt out. All of my dealer's stock was like this. Anyone else experience this?

Update on that price..I said $119 and they are now $102...lol I swear everytime I check the website they change the price! Best to go to the parts department and see for yourself.

*Also of note...the grey and beige colored all weather mats like to show scuff marks from your shoes and you can't get them off.

I paid $80 for the MB all weather floor mats and the wheel locks, and the dealer even brought them to my house. The floor mats are perfect fit and I think is a must need for rain and snow.

Do these floor mats have a MB logo or say "mercedes" on them? And do they have grommets to prevent sliding? Thanks.

They say Mercedes and have the grommet holes that line up with the car. Dealer threw them in with the car. You can always ask them, what's the worse they can say? No?

Same problem with mine. I believe its something they spray onto the mold to make the mat pop out after its been molded. I ended up using Simple Green on mine and while it sort of worked, it sort of didn't. Still have the "streak" marks in them, but the good news is that once you start using them, you get snow/salt/dirt/rain water on them and it blends in.

I live in Canada and winter floor mats are just part of any car purchase deal for me. So I did order the winter mats for my new C-Class.

They came in late but they were of such a poor quality that MB send them back.

The mats should fill the whole area and have a lip that comes up on the side. This way it builds a tray.

Snow from our shoes melts and then when it gets cold the water freezes. Yo take the mats out and bend it backward and the frozen ice cubes fall out and the mats are just like new. Perfect. Anything else is useless. The worst is when water runs under the mats and freezes.

Hopefully the new mats come in soon and are as described.

I've been using these (http://www.autosportcatalog.com/inde...pid=3023&cid=4) for a while now. They fit great, but don't have the "snaps". They've done a decent job of containing water/mud/snow to this point. I may just keep them in year round.

The best is to buy the 3M customized floor mats. Fits perfectly and keeps your ride super clean.

Any info on where to get those 3M custom mats? "super clean" is what I like in my cars. Nobody eats, drinks, smokes, farts, or breathes in my car. And only I get to drive it. The only way FTW!

So I got fed up playing phone tag with my salesmen and dropped into the dealership this past Monday. After two months, they STILL don't have the set of OE winter mats for me. They said that they were not happy with the initial shipment of mats because it had falling rubber flakes (can someone confirm that?) so they are waiting for a new set.

The way things are going, I'd be surprised to get my set before the end of winter.

2008 Mercedes C350 Saks Edition
i got the hexo mats at autosportcatalog.com

they fit great.

only the drivers mat comes with holes for gromits but i can live with that.

the price was $100 bucks for all 4 mats which was good and for 80 more i got a cargo mat that is a perfrect fit for the trunk.

the only bad thing is they smell like rubber for about a week. after that all good.

Wait for the Weather Tech floor liners. They are better than all weather mats.
