DVD/Nav aftermarket

When I bought the car I did not get the DVD/Nav. I was wondering if you can do it after market. And if so will the knob that controls the radio and bluetooth still work?? Any ideas?? thanks

TOM TOM is your answer for NAV. and why you bought the car with no COMAND when you wanted one?

Well I face the similar dillema. I must have overlooked the Command APS feature before buying my C200K, and now, I sorta wish I had the retractable 7 inch screen, rather than the standard 5 inch screen. Plus, the Command APS sound system's much better than standard.

Like tlk7866, I am looking for an aftermarket upgrade on this, any ideas?

Mercedes UMI...makes the 5 inch screen into a GPS NAV system with traffic updates.

Search the threads for the UMI....some good threads about it.

Nav's not really my issue. Thanks to Garmin. Pretty much looking for a DVD player/7-inch retractable screen/Voice command/MUCH better sound quality. Is it possible to retrofit the MM package into a non-MM car? As for sound quality, I could go for HK system if I can't fit the MM package. Sigh...

Of course it's possible. Forum searches reveal many outstanding topics:

Thanks for your quick reply guys. Since I'm living in Malaysia, *sigh*, there might be some issues with the retrofitting, especially the lack of "skills" in fitting it. I'm pretty certain the Benz dealers won't agree with the retrofitting, and there's no way in hell am I going to leave my car in some beat up workshop with Billy "I can fix anything" Lee touching my car... But I'm gonna keep up with my research
