I dunno, after spending few weeks with the new C, the interior doesn't seems to be cheap. I love the solid feeling it give out compare to the old C. It may not be as beautifully formed but it certainly is not cheap.

I agree. The interior dosen't look or feel cheap at all, specially with the black wood trim.

huh?
Come on, that apepars to be a dumb statement. The most popular business car in nyc metro area, and prolly philly too as far as I can tell, is the lincoln town car. See more of them than any other car for business, except the ford crown vic used for taxis. Yep, the lincoln town car, or simply referred to as the black sedan. And that's quick? Without interior luxury? ****, more suits around here drive big sedans like lincolns, caddy dts/sts, audi a8's, bmw 7 series and Merc S classes than they drive S8's, M7's (do they even make?), Amg S class, Hammer Caddy's, or even prosches, ferraris, corvettes, or etc. And, I'm willing to wager that the center of "business" in America starts at, say, New Haven, CT, and forms a big arc to, say, Princeton, NJ.
Just confused by your statement, clarify?

I agree, I think the wood trim has a richer look over the aluminum trim. Although, I'm not real fond of the black maple wood against the two tone grey/black interior. I went with the all black interior myself. I just wish they would of extended the wood trim across the passenger dash like in the E class or something... Oh well, I'll be in the drivers seat.

I can't agree with that. I'm a business man and the interior of the car is very important to me. I drive in bumper to bumper traffic everyday and spend time looking at the interior of the car. My current (W203) C-Class is very comforting. The new C-Class is very cold and flat. My next car will be an E-Class partly because of the interior.

It's hard to tell the color from that angle. I have the Iridium. I agreed with Palladium at first- but when you look at the highlights in the bumper it looks kinda light to be Palladium. As far as the interior- I am happy (even with the Aluminum trim on my Sport). I think it fits nicely with the silver gauge trim and adds to the sportiness of the Sport (Avantegard). I do love wood trim though (Got it in our 07 Avalanche). Everyone asks me how I like the car- and when I tell them I love it- They say thats what they've been hearing.

Then I got into my brother's Honda Tundra during the Christmas holiday. We're now talking plastic everywhere. Got back into my C300 and had a much better appreciation that the car wasn't that obviously full of plastic and would last longer than a plasticmobile, and quieter and faster on takeoff.
By the way, at 3 months and 6K miles, the C300 still doesn't have any sqeeks or rattles.

Did he just say what I think he said? OMG What the expletive? This is the first M-B in my short life (I'm not quite 30 yet) that I've LOVED looking at. And this is the first M-B that I've even entertained the thought of buying. This is the first M-B that made me choose it over a BMW.
I'll say, I've NEVER been one to put looks over performance, but this car's looks made me do so. I'm offended!

Don't get me wrong, the new C on the outside is a looker!! I prefer the look over W203, I love the look without any cosmetic enhancement. On the inside, it reminisce of older Benz; boxy, square and solid, kinda W202.
The W203 however is attractive on it's own right, i drove it for 6 years and the interior is more inviting and rounder in shape, however it just doesn't give that solid feeling.
It suck that you guys don't have Cognac Brown leather , this is THE interior colour for this car, period

I felt exactly the same way. This is the first MB that I actually considered over a BMW and made my head turn. In fact, I told MB dealers that straight out (ofcourse, they were all shocked and started to mention SL55, CL, SLR..... etc) Guess that I have to add.... of those ones I can afford.
as far as interior is concerned.... I think its a matter of taste. I love the fact that MB took the minimalist approach, I hate the flight cockpit cluster button look....
Its like how you would furnish your living room... do you go victorian or modern?

I would say it is palladium, because when you choose iridium, the fins on the grill are identical in colour to the body colour and in this photo they are distinctively lighter in colour.

Well, I'm about to replace my W208 finally. To be honest, I love the look of the new C exterior, but I was sadly unimpressed with the interior. To be honest, the interior, the lack of memory seats, and the lack of keyless go (though that's really not that big a deal) may in fact stop me from a new C. I drove it and it drove pretty nice, but it's in tough competition. If MB had just spent a little more attention I'd already have bought one.

I'm so surprised many don't like the interior. I love it personally. I actually don't like the S class interior. ha-ha. It isn't the feel I want. For me, the C-Class interior looks gorgeous, and is so very easy to use.
Honestly, if it was like the old interior, I wouldn't have gotten the car.
