I'm looking to change out standard eyebrow lights to LED. Anyone here successfully done theirs and does it get give you error message?

Are you looking to change them b/c they are not bright enough? Im not sure what the bulb number is, but possible HID replacement possible? or maybe a sylvania silverstar bulb(almost white)

 

yeah i did it to my car. everything on my headlights are blue. i got 8000k bulbs/blue. HID blue fogs and my eyebrows are blue and match too its easy and it looks good

I got mine from Hoen along with Highs, Fogs, and license plate LEDs. Sitting right here in the box until she comes back from the body shop. The roof spoiler finally showed up today so hopefully the paint will be mixed and sprayed soon. Looking forward to the black grill the most.

I will. If I do, I know a VERY smart electronics guy who I will ask about the resistor fittment.

 

I tried to install the Hoen LED bulbs for the eyebrow city lights, no error message but they are always on even when the car is off.

They do look really nice and distinctive, however the stock bulbs are blue tinted so it looks just fine.

 

^ i can just imagine, that there would be no battery issues, because the car isnt sending any engergy to the bulb. All the light bulbs in my house are LED's so even when the lights in the house are off, it still glows almost like a night light. I have the bulbs i use in my house are 120LED bulbs 4300k and its pretty bright when its off. When the car is off is it bright, or just a little glow? Or much simpler, are they the same when there on and when there off?

 

Do the bulbs turn off after a while? I used to have LED bulbs for my interior lighting in my W203 and they will always light up a little when I'm driving. When the car is off, they will still light up a little but they eventually turn off by themselves. That's why I was wondering if yours would turn off after a while.

It seems that there is no error message issue on this change.

What would be the nice color to replace the stock? Considering I have Bi-Xenon package.

 

I went to Autozone and got a bulb 168NB replaced it and it looks brighter than the OEM bulbs. It goes well with my Xenon 6000K HID.
