Road debris and idiot drivers
The 2 are not a good combination. After owning my first MB for less than 1 month, my bumper was gashed multiple times by an idiot driver cutting me off, running over some metal road debris, and kicking it onto my bumper. The clearbra I had installed 2 weeks ago protected most of it with the exception of the outer edge of the bumper and the fog ligh housing, all which were severely gashed. Although not 100% of my bumper was protected, I can't stress enough the love I have for my clearbra.
oh, btw - anyone know how much a fog light housing would run me? (The chrome painted plastic ring)

I hate that too.
in most cases the culprit is either a beat up old car, or a midsize van.
they just drive along with the road. ie if the road is a light left & right bend, they'd drive in a straight line. had that happen a couple times in Long Island.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
Here in NE Ohio, most drivers blow. Especially the male soccer moms driving around in their SUVs and minivans. They think they are in some sort of protective bubble. I wish I could say not all of them drive like that, but I haven't seen one in a long time that seems to understand they are in their vehicle and not in their living room.
We have loads of punks in Chevy Cavaliers, Honda Civics and VWs in various states of disrepair "modded" polluting our highways too. These chumps cut people off like it is their job.
Good thing you had clear bra. I swear by it.

Try driving down the interstate and seeing about 5 empty wooden loading pallets on the road strewn all over the road ahead of you!! Happened to me yesterday...luckily they were spaced out enough for me to drive around them all.

I went with clearshield and had it installed at a local shop. You can see it if you're 2-3 feet from the car, but otherwise not noticeable. It's pretty slick and definitely does not affect the look of the car.
