The differences between almost any W204 in the US will depend on the options purchased rather than the engine.

There are plenty of 350 owners here! Enough to make me wish I had one sometimes. ha-ha!!

Otherwise, there really isn't much else different between the cars. It's just the engine and bigger brakes.

I am one C300 owner that didn't buy the "cheaper" model because it was cheaper. I wanted a manual transmission and it's not offered in the 350. While they are stout and perform well, neither engine is anything to brag about.

Is there a poll thread, like the colors one, where we can select who has 300 and who has 350?

The dealers I've spoken to have said that the 300 is outselling the 350 by as much as 5 or 6 to 1. For most people it is the cost that puts them in the 300, for some they'd prefer the Manual tranny or Lux Package.

Makes me happy to have the 350 now that I'm seeing more and more 300's on the road. Will help when I trade into the new E in a couple of years.

And most of your questions will have the same answer regardless of whether it is a 300 or 350, there are other differences besides the engine size, but most questions posed on here can easily be answered by a 300 owner.

It was on here several months ago, it might be closed now. There was also a Sport vs. Lux poll too but I know that one is closed.

Looks like you get to start a new poll then, if the moderators don't like it they'll merge it with the existing one.

Whats different from the 350 other than the engine and the badge? Oh yeah, the wood trim interior instead of aluminum. Anything else?
