Got a new one the other day. The one with the ML on the cover. They seem to be selling a new W204 steering wheel that is trimmed in leather and suede and has more of an AMG type of grip but a bit more subtle. They main difference between this wheel and the other is that the the wheel is a four spoke with two on the bottom as apposed to our stock s. wheels which only have 3 spokes. They are 699 and 799 depending on sport or elegance. I really do like the wheel but I feel like I will have to accent the interior with some black suede or leather inserts if I install it on my black MBtex interior or it will won't flow with the rest of the car. Has anybody else seen these? What are your takes on them?

I got the catalog too and I also like the steering wheels as well. But I just don't know whether it will look good. They have the 3 spokes as well, if I'm not wrong.

Pics! haha I think the 4 spoke would look good, the 3 spoke is really sporty but with the AMG look the 4 spoke should look pretty sporty as well.

The steering wheels look amazing and it shows a Lorinser body kit. Not a big fan of the front but the rear bumper and exhaust look *** amazing although it kinda looks like a Lexus LS460

Ya they don't seem to update their online site as often. But you can order an item not found online by calling them and giving them the part # found in the catalog.

Are they available only in black? I need cashmere beige. I usually get their catalogs but haven't seen this one.

I bought a wood and leather wheel from them for my W203 C320 back about 2003 which cost about $375. Quality was satisfactory and the color match (Java leather) was good.

Btw, these catalogs are free from the website if you aren't yet recieving it. Thank you for putting up the picture. I'd love to see it installed on an MB tex W204. I still am not sure how all the different types of materials would contrast one another. Maybe a black alcantara headliner??? Ohh, also, on the page I found the steering wheel it also appears as though Performace Products catalog company who also serves a similar catalog for porsche drivers is fabricating some sort of body kit for the W204 as well that actually doesn't look awful from the shot in the magazine. Any thoughts?

Since I have been working with someone on the germancarzone.com website in an attempt to find a way to purchase the factory option wood trimmed wheel,
this post was good news. Particularly since that source, through a big German dealer, was leading nowhere.

I purchased a wood/leather wheel for my C320 from Performance about 2002 and was happy with it. The price was more palatable at about $375 but that was then.

I just got off the phone with them and was told that their wheel supplier in Germany (not Brabus) has not yet sent a sample of the wood/leather wheel that I want. Coming soon. He advised calling him back weekly and I have his direct number. I spoke to Jim at 1-877-448-6968.

I asked about the suede trimmed wheel in cashmere beige, particularly how to keep the matching suede clean. He said that was going to be a problem and suggested white driving gloves, kidding. This might not be such a problem in black, which of course 90% of the Cs have anyway. They are well aware which models have three spoke and four spoke wheels.

I have held in my hands the wood and black leather factory option wheel which is readily available at the dealers and it's very nice, but expensive. But, black is not going to work in my car's beige leather interior. So, I sent it back.

As to cost, my dealer says they order from Performance on occasion which means I can use my $1500 MBUSA Loyalty card to purchase it from them, rather than order from Performance. Makes it free.

It won't come off from just a car wash. Had it on my old car and never had any problems. The adhesive is strong and will last a long time.
