I have the 2008 C 350 sport. Irridium Silver Metalic,Multimedia Package,iPod,18" AMG wheels

hey guys tonight at 8pm on the speed channel They are featuring the 2008 mercedes benz amg on a 1 hour special.

Wow. This is going to be a real treat! I watched the M3 show, but figured they'd never do MB, since I figured they sponsored it or something.
Can't wait now!!! Some genius who wrote the program info for guides though calls it a C6.3 haha.

2008 R350 & 2008 C300
That show is so full of crap though. The car manufactors must pay serious bucks to get their cars on that show because they never ever say anything bad about a car. Not to mention they will have a guest or two thats on the car manufactors pay list (i.e. racer for their team) and they will talk about how great the car is, go figure they are getting paid to say that! It is however entertaining to watch them tear the cars up

It wasn't as good as the show on the M3 IMHO. A lot of it was some drifting AMG course in Sweden that got boring, and wasn't even C63 exclusive.
5am PAcific Wednesday 8 Am eastern Wednesday morning it replays, so record it then, if you missed it.

Agreed! People that missed the show didn't miss much. They really didn't concentrate specifically on the car much at all. Even the second half after the ice drifting seemed more about the drivers competing than the car IMO.

Wow. I thought I would be the only one to think it was boring. I did get a good idea of who the majority of AMG owners are though. I guess the high-dollar cars help them cope with certain inadequacies that come with getting older. Or, the cars give their younger wives something exciting to play with. It's too bad.

Funny nobody mentioned the punishing too-stiff ride. The new CAR magazine has a three car comparison test (C63 was NOT the winner) and the driver said one of his aims was to keep from hitting his head on the ceiling.
Mainly, it was disappointing. Driving around sideways on ice proved absolutely nothing. And on the dry pavement segments I mostly thought about the tires and how many sets they destroyed.

Yep, they replayed so many of the slides and whatnot too cause it was almost like they couldn't get the 45 minutes together cause they had nothing to say. ha-ha.
You really got the feeling the compliments on the M3 were more genuine. ha-ha. I love the C63 more, but the M3 Speed show was a lot better.

I initially wanted a C55 AMG as I love the AMG cars but used is all I can safely afford but for a nice clean one the prices are right there with a new C350. Owning new cars for so long I had to stay with the new car choice.
I will most likely be one of those old guys driving a high end car as I do love cars ut of course once retirement and my family is taken care of first.
