I've had my White C350 for 1 month today. I bought it with 8 miles and just turned 5,082 miles - this is what I know.

1. I get 29 - 30.5 MPG when AVG speed is 90ish MPH
2. I get 27 - 28.5 MPG when AVG speed is 80ish MPH
* Both at travel distance near 100 miles
3. This is the best HWY car I have ever driven. Plenty of power and great on fuel.
4. I love the FREE car wash at any MB dealer Nationwide and use it 3-4 times per week
* I have a clear bra and love it too. No paint chips and free lifetime replacement of bra.
5. In sport mode this car will flat go!
6. Corners like its on rails
7. I've been 120MPH on the digital readout and I had plenty left over.
* Can't wait to get it on a track!
** At 120 the car was baby butt smooth and still very quiet.
8. I wish I could just leave my lights and fogs on and have them turn off when the car is off.
*I don't like turning them on/off.
9. Memory seats would be nice.
10. Inside Arm Rest electrical accessory would be nice.
11. Love the talking Nav and nearest MB dealer POI
12. Love the rear window pop up privacy screen
13. Love the voice command
14. Love the looks and compliments from passer by's, friends, valet parking, and pretty much everyone who sees it.
15. Love the REAR fog lamp. Great when in fog, heavy rain, or rural road.

My suggestion: Anyone who is thinking C300 - spend the extra cash and go with the C350. The power increase is very noticeable and an absolute rush when you step into it. Especially in Sport mode!

MB Equip: iPOD, Nav, TeleAid and Concierge Svs, Sirius, 2 tone Gray/Black interior - love it w/ tinted windows.

NOW Mods: 3M clear bra, paint sealer protector, rain repellent all windows, all window tint, sealer/protector all interior surfaces.

FUTURE Mods: Video in motion & BU Cam- Mid City Engineering in June, New wheels and 19s. Polished, not chrome, likely Brabus - near 40k miles. Brabus exhaust about 40k miles too.

No failures but if something happens lets hope it is within my 100k mile warranty. This car will be turned over to my daughter in 3 years when she turns 15.5.

Until then I will drive it like I stole it!

 

Nice to hear. Regards to #8 you can leave your lights on A and set daytime running lights on. On steering wheel goto settings then lights and enable daytime running lights.

 

Yes but I like driving with the fogs ON. If I leave it in A mode the fogs are still on/off manually.

 

I also did 5k in first month and did notice the faster I travel the better MPG I get. Ditto to all you said. I have not had any issues. I really like this car!

 

You get free car wash from the dealer in the US? how come we dont hv that in canada?

 

I don't think you want free car washes from the dealer. Especially if you have a black car like me. I tell them not to touch my damn car everytime I go.

Our C350 is getting barely 20mpg... I think my sister floors it at ever stoplight or something. The best I've gotten was 25mpg, I'm sure I could get it up to 28 or 29 if I drove it for a month or two

C350 would have been a possible choice, if it included 4matic in USA. That said, very pleased with C300Sport 4matic.

 

All MB factory repair facilities offer the car washes in ATL...
My cars are both silver and I do not let them wash either of them when in for service. They run it thru a car wash machine that scratches / swirls the crap out of your paint...

 

man thats almost 175 miles a day of driving so you fill up every 3 days?? Thats unbelievable I fill my SL once a week then again my commute is about 8 miles round trip daily!

 

Another reason why I need to trade my car in.

 

2009 SLK350 coming out next month is 300hp...will the 09 C350 get the bigger hp engine too? isn't current 268hp?
