There goes a new tire.
at least the new tire comes tomorrow. FYI learning how to use this jack was interesting.
cracks me up i ran over a 4" to 5" Thin Metal rod a couple of months ago and it went into the tire. You know you can call mercedes and they will come out and replace your tire for you, Just so you know. I just got a another flat coupe of days ago different tire. seems like the conti pro contacts attract objects

not sure about the luxury model all i know is that my c350 came with 17' Conntinentals. Can not comment on how they stack up against the Michelins.
as the roads near my job were under construction.
thankfully I had my tire & rim protection plan when I signed up,
so the only thing that came out of my pocket was $20 for the left orange side lamp.

As for me, I had a screw stuck in the sidewall of the tire at ~500 miles. Dunno how it got stuck there.
But I had it plugged up for $15 (illegal in California; the shop wasn't even supposed to do it) at a tire shop, and then replaced the tire with a new one when it arrived.
its now thursday and the tire is still not here. the wrong tire came into the dealership. not really mad at the dealer just frustrated waiting for a new tire. i think the earliest i will get to drive my car is saturday.
The people must be slacking off big time.
when I had the puncture I got my tire done in 45min. including the side lamps
Bought and installed a new tire. The next day, when I was checking its pressure through the onboard computer, I took my eyes off the road. I looked back on the road and ran over a huge rock which ended up puncturing my right front tire and bending the wheel. That was about 800-900 dollars in about a week.
