Haha thats hilerious. They were clearly fakes. 2 Things, the diffuser and no quad exhausts. See now I would put the AMG badge up if I had all the AMG parts (diffuser, amg body kit, exhausts) but I would never put a 6.3 litre badge or a C63 badge on it. I would prob not even put a AMG badge on my car I would rather leave it unbadged so it fools people and looks more slick. lol

I don't know what's worse. The fake AMGs, the losers who are so *******g preoccupied with it that they take the time to take pictures, or the word poser itself.

I know! I can't stand that word poser. I mean people can do whatever they want. But what really pisses me off is the fact that they go around and snag professional photo's of them

Mercedes S204 C320 CDI
Thinking about putting a C230 badge on my future C320 CDI in order to avoid questions or curious looks from the "wrong" crowds...

Does anyone knows how one goes about it, I mean, finding the badge and gluing it to the car ?

I will not installed a C63 or AMG badge on my C350 but to each it's own, I just saw the other day a S500 with a shameful I mean cheap quad exhaust and with AMG badge.

I know I have used the word "poser" in the past. Sorry if I offended anyone (actually I don't care) I laughed my butt off the other day when I saw an older S500 and the idiot had it pimped out with big chrome rims and S2000 on the trunk lid. It was SWEET! Still not as bad as the Lucerne vents. I saw a W203 the other day with those

I have used the word too. AKa, I wasn't directing my comments to anyone here. It's just so over used in the AMG and M forums. I'll bet the same people use the prefix "uber" as well. I am here to share ideas. Hacking on some idiot with an AMG badge is the kind of crap that goes on in the VW sites. They are loaded with juveniles with nothing better to contribute.

By the way, it's spelled, poseur. It makes me laugh when someone is pompous enough to use the word without knowing how it's spelled.

He has it in the front too. I, myself would be removing chrome, not adding it.

Really, "To each his own." Everyone can do whatever the f he wants with his personal property. It's your money, it's your car, it's your business whatever you wanna do with it. So, rock on with the C63/AMG/Brabus badges, I say. Power to you.

The only thing I simply cannot, for the life of me, understand is: what the hell is the point of these "poser/poseur" badges? A fake C63 badge will never impress the people who are "in the know," and who give a shat if it impresses the uninformed masses that know nothing? I just don't get it. With those pics above, all of us can immediately tell that the car is not a C63 (wheels, lack of quad exhaust, etc ad infinitum) in half a second. What the hell is he tryin to prove here? Similar questions can be asked about fake Rolexes (for guys) and fake Gucci bags (for girls). We can tell. In half a second. Why?

And why would he ADD chrome in unsightly places?

BTW, who cares about poser/poseur spelling differences? The -eur spelling makes "poseur" sound vaguely French. So what's a female poseur, a "poseuse"? Po-tay-to, po-tah-to.

Why am I on this forum at 8 in the morning? Why do I stay up until 2 AM reading and checking these threads over and over again? What is the meaning of life? How come I can't play a real guitar like I can play Guitar Hero? Why won't someone just buy me an M5 and an Exige S 240--today?

I have so many questions. I seek answers.
