Hey Guys,

So I'm 75% sure I'll be getting 2 magnaflow mufflers to put on my C300. My question you is which one would look best with the C63 rear diffuser? The ones at my local auto store (lordco) available are:

Magnaflow 14801 for $188

Magnaflow 14805 for $193

Magnaflow 14815 for $196

I'm don't know whether the tips slanted upwards would look good or not? Any thoughts on to which is your fav? I'm kinda liking the last one because then the tips would be able to reach the end of the bumper?

p.s. I was reading on the box's and they said they do about 10 hp and 20 ft lb torque increases approx.

edit: Heres a youtube clip with a W203 with the 14815 magnaflow exhausts:

and a M5:

Yea I'm really thinking of buying the 14815 now.

The third one is best, but I think you need slash cut tips. Don't get the DTM tips. I have them on my Passat (only thing available for the Neuspeed system at the time) and they just look too juvenile.

FYI...I was going to get the Remus exhaust from the forum sponsor, but this is the week it was finally supposed to arrive and it did not. Whew, kind of an unorganized nightmare. So, I won't be purchasing it, or any other exhaust for that matter. I've decided to wait. It would have been pretty cool. I was going to provide sound-clips and drive-bys, and write a review. Too bad.

Whats the point to spend 2+ grand on something I can get for much much less? Plus I live in Canada and they don't sell brabus parts here only in Cali. And the store that does sell them in cali sucks monkey ***** at returning emails/calls

Looks good. Seems to be the most reasonable alternative of having
dual tipped exhaust pipes to use with the C63 diffuser.

Are you getting them for yourself Micropower99?

Yea. I'm at a dilemma haha.

I have option 1: Buy this tips and install them on the car along with the C63 rear diffuser. or my second option is to get the magnaflow exhausts, buy some tips to weld on the magnaflow's then put it all together with the diffuser. I want to do it without the magnaflow's in a way because it'll save me 300+ dollars although I wouldn't get the sound or performance that I would with the magnaflow. :p

IMHO.......try to find a sound pic before you attempt putting on the Magna's. You'll be extremely disappointed if it sounds like crap, stick to a proven muffler or exhaust system that has been tested on our cars before you put down all that hard earned money.........

It does sound good. Sounds like it has the right amount of back pressure. My girlfriend's brother is an awesome engine builder. I am going to see if he will design something with me. I prefer Borla or Dynomax mufflers for European cars though. I have noticed that Local exhaust company, Corsa has some BMW and Audi stuff. My father is friends with the owner. I may see if he can convince him to do something.

Yea it sounds pretty nice. Borla should be pretty good

The only thing with the tips I worry that it might not fit the stock muffler since I heard a rumor that the stock exhaust has a wierd shaped pip thats not circular?

This one is not bad too (if you just want tips). Its oval and looks like high quality:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MAGNA...spagenameZWD1V

Or with magnaflow and dual together:

Thats not a bad idea. I would need to buy 2 of these so it would cost me $200 for the AMG tips, $400 for the magnaflow mufflers and possibly up to $100 for installation.
Total (without diffuser): $700 (installed)

Or
Y pipe with these AMG tips would cost me around $250-$300 After installation?

Or
Magnaflow exhaust with built in tips around $500 after installation.
