The title of the post says:
"REMUS W204 - C300/C350 - in stock - new information"
but your post body says:
Sounds awesome... I hope this works for the C300 engine. If not, perhaps you are in development of one?

TUV approval is not applicable to C300, it will still fit the C300, however the homologation sheets will not make mention of the C300.
From our FAQ:
Homologation is the certification by the EEC that the system fulfills their extremely high specifications in various design criteria for that specific model. Remus surpasses these specifications and are in addition to ISO 9001: 2000 also ISO/TS 16949: 1999 approved. The first company in the Industry to achieve this. Each system comes with this certificate that must be kept with the cars service book. TUV approval is a battery of rigorous tests in Europe to determine the quality and legality of an exhaust for specific car model. Some exhaust applications will fit many car models and won't be TUV approved, this simply means it has not been evaluted on this car model however will still fit. A TUV approved exhaust is a caracterized by a superior build quality using superior quality materials and a street legal sound, hovering close to OEM decibel (dB) output.

And if you guys have tried an installation on a C300, and can provide any performance numbers, I'd appreciate it. HP/torque increase (or decrease?) numbers would be nice to see.
Thanks much! Super fast response, I'm impressed.

So will this exhaust be legal on a C300 under California regulations? Any information you could provide would be much appreciated. California regulations are regarding emissions if I'm not mistaken, as our exhaust does not change out the catalyser or affect any O2 sensors, you will not have issues. If you mean in terms of sound, the exhaust is approved for street use on the C350. The decibel output, we assume, should thus be similar if not equivalent on the C300 and you should not have any issues sound wise with the police, however we cannot claim it is street legal sound wise for the C300.
And if you guys have tried an installation on a C300, and can provide any performance numbers, I'd appreciate it. HP/torque increase (or decrease?) numbers would be nice to see. We have no concrete numbers on HP and TQ increase, however you can rest assured, there is no decrease. The reduction in backpressure is an addition, if anything, not a reduction to your HP and TQ rating.

Wow, freakin' awesome. How do you do respond so fast? You must have your finger on F5 constantly mashing it. Or subscribed by email... mmmm... makes more sense.
In any case, thanks much for the clarification. I was worried more about the emissions aspect, as the sound part I could sorta tell from the MP3s provided. And it's good to know performance wouldn't be negatively affected. Sorry if it was a retarded question; I don't know jack.
Remus just moved to the top of the list in my exhaust choices as of today.

Remus, I know this has been mentioned before, and before I go any further, I have had the up most pleasure utilizing your exhaust systems on my Ducati's, but in the eyes of many (including myself) a performance exhaust system should do three things...
A - It should provide your engine with a less restrictive path to exhale, creating a window for more power output...
B - It should provide you with a euphoric sound, that is one part intimidation, and one part pure pleasure...
C - Last but not least, there should be some sort of visual presence. With your oval (stock like) tips, it really doesn't have that WOW appeal many whom are in the market for an aftermarket system are looking for.
There's no doubt the system (underneath the car) looks great, but it's not what people see or want shown...
Maybe the subtle Remus logo on the tips may do it for some, but (and I'm not speaking on behalf of everyone here, just myself) I would prefer something a little more aggressive looking. A dual tip setup like that on the AMG vehicles would be nice, or maybe something that didn't resemble the OEM *rolled edge) tips.
Having installed aftermarket system on practically every single vehicle I have owned, there was always some sort of visual difference, that spoke without even making a sound.
Have you guys pondered the idea of going twin tip, or is that still just a custom (pay extra and wait) option? With the number of guys here alone who want the dual (AMG like) tip setup, I'm almost certain you wouldn't be able to keep them on the shelves...
Just some food for thought...

It is defintely an issue that we brought up with Remus Austria, the oval tips are very similar to the OEM, althought of superior quality, they still look very much the same.
However the issue we face with the MB market is demand, as a lot of you have noticed, there is very little aftermarket support for MB. REMUS understood this situation and decided on a similar to OEM setup as this seems to be what the majority of MB owners are looking.
Looking at your criterias, I can definately say REMUS answers for A, B being quite subjective and C was explained in the earlier paragraph.
We could definately do a quad tip version, I will get back to you guys with something on Monday.

Quads are the way to go. The look and sound is first class.
But you're right. After market parts for the Cclass is severely constricting.
Edit - I think Brabus and Carlsson diffusers could be used.

I'm not a "Quad" tip guy unless the car is producing upward 450 hp but that's just me. I personally just want a deeper more aggressive sound at idle and WOT and no drone at highway speeds. I think the current C300/C350 exhaust tips are some of the most beautifully executed and mounted to a car. Look at them up close, they are like triple layered and rolled and slightly tapered to the follow the bumper lines on the car. At anyrate I wish you had a no tip, raw exit option where I could re-install the stock tips if preferred. IMO the oval resonated tips on the shown pipes have that low-rent local auto parts store look. Please take no offense as I have loved Remus products for years and know that you folks have likely overbuilt this kit.

PMs answered.
In regards to the tips, the REMUS tips are perforated, resonated, rolled, chromed and made with 441 stainless steel. It is of higher quality than the OEM tips, slightly bigger in size.
