Good lease deal on the C350 (fully loaded)?

I'm thinking of getting a C350 for my GF. (SOCAL AREA)

Build it online and came out to $43,075.

P2
Multimedia Package
Panorama Package

With 0 down (out of pocket)
10k anually
39 months

What's the monthly payment should I be expecting?

Thanks.

I'd be careful with the mileage element of the lease.

I currently drive 24,000 miles per year and the lease promo included only 10,000 miles.

This does not make sense, perhaps you are using European Delivery prices, or you are building a C300 (C300 with everything except auto is 43.460), because a C350 is quite a bit more than that "loaded"

Leases differ depending on the deals you work out with your dealer. But based on the numbers you gave, with 10K and 39 months, with a money factor of .0022 (assume you have good credit), zero down, your looking at $730 a month with tax.

The price you gave is for MSRP, the invoice cost is: $40,732....if you could get the car at invoice your cost per month would drop to around $700 a month...more if you put money down. I would plan to pay for all fees and taxes so that they do not get rolled into the lease. If you do that you should see payments in the mid to low $600's.

I'd expect ~$700 out of pocket with zero down.

To give you a heads up and maybe more options, I was just at my dealership Monday and talked to a salesman who told me that you can actually get an E class lease for $100 less a month than a C class right now. Due to the fact that the E class is on its last model year and not selling the numbers it once did, they have offered many discounts and incentives to keep them moving till the new model arrives next year. I don't lease, so an E class as a second car is a bit too much money for me, but if I were leasing and could get an E for less than a C I would have to think that one over. The E class having more interior room, more power, more options, and only lacking in the looks department compared to a new C (although an E with the sport package still looks quite good in my book)

When I leased my C300, they told me I could have any E350 they had for $70/mo more than what I was doing on the C. I debated hard on that one, and ended up choosing the C (hindsight, probably a mistake and not a week goes by I don't think about that I should've done an E).

Then when I called in to talk about options for terminating my lease early they tried hard to get me to take an E. Massive trunk money (they were non-commital about actual amount over the phone, which is understandable), offered 0.9% financing up to 72mo, extremely low MF if I wanted to lease. They were trying hard. Even mentioned that the incentives were on the E63 too. I'm sure the hard numbers can be found over at edmunds buying forums .. or on mbworld's leasing forum.

BTW, same thing on the Audi A4s since the new design is about to hit dealership floors. When I was at Audi they were trying to give me one. But the MB dealers were being awful on appraising my C.

Oh, and another BTW, C300 P1/pano/7sp/18" amg wheels 6500 miles, both MB dealers appraised at 27k for trade-in. They flat out told me they don't want any cars, especially C's. Might be local to my area, but both MB and Audi had that smell of desperation around them like sales have tanked lately. Maybe economy damage from high fuel prices? Or people waiting for the new designs? Dunno.

Don't feel sad about passing up the E. The next E will look nice, but right now, this C is a beautiful car and fun to drive. I like it's looks more than the current E>

I think he's more upset about the 1st MY reliability/build quality issues than he is about looks. He's had some crazy luck with his car. The E-class, I'm sure, would have been relatively problem-free, as it is one of the last MY cars...

The E's side crash rating is not as good as the C. The New E will be a lot better. Imagine driving around in an old E when the New E's come out....Plus no hard drive or new command with new controls that go with it. Anyways to answer homeboy's question a good lease payment would be around 700 with no down. Make sure you get the buy rate money factor which I beleieve should be listed in the leasing section of this forum. Don't let their finance department make money on you. Also try and bring the price down a little too, just to mess with them. May be tough but I love leaving dealers with a sour taste in their mouth and extra high blood pressure LOL.

My payment is 769 a month but that is becuase of my trade. THOSE JERKS had to get me somewhere. I had 6 grand negative balance. I put in 4.5 Grand and ended up having 2.5 thousand negative balance on the lease. The actual payment for just the car is realistically around 6xx. /month

What sucks is that I am paying interest on money i already paid interest on UGGGGG!

Now I wan't a 63 and I'm belly up TEN G"S. SO i just decided to wait and modd it out for a while. AMG's arent going out of style anytime soon. Next car will definetly be one. Just for the stats, screw the speed.

MY LEASING DILEMA. Pouring my heart out on the boards just becuase I love you all!! lOL.

I know that this week when I was at my dealership they had over 24 C's in stock and a few have been sitting there for months. A C300 Mars Red Sport 4matic and a C300 6 Speed manual have been there since February at least. Yeah doesn't sound like a long time but it is for my dealership. Its a combination of the newness of the C wearing off (basically the people that were buying up the C when it was introduced were current C class owners wanting the latest and greatest) and the fact that gas prices have gone through the roof and the C isn't frugal with the fuel, or any MB for that matter.

These days anything over 2 months on the lot is a lifetime. MB has always had a habit of flooding the market on a release.

The last page of the build your own site gives you some rough numbers for leasing and financing, I say rough because it doesn't tell you of any current offers or discounts available. It does however give you some numbers to work with so your not running into anything blindly.

Well that's going to be a problem for me then. I'm looking to spend no more than $500/mo on a lease. Yeah, I'm going to put some money down, but $700 on a lease? I might as well buy the car at that point.

You should be able to lease a very well equiped c300 for less than $600 a month with no money down up front...there are some special leasing deals this month. See your dealer for the details. Also..don't put any money down in front...it's a bad idea even though it lowers your monthly bill. Overall you pay the same amount for the car over the term of the lease...and you could have that money in your bank earning interest. There are also some risks should you total the car.

True, but I'm not interested in a 300. :/ I want the 350 for the power. I'm probably going to have to rethink this.

Does anybody know ....

if dealer would be getting trunk money on a '09 E class that was purchased via the European delivery route? I know 7% comes off the MRSP but is there a "trunk" one can get into?

TIA.

C300 LEASE

I know you mentioned wanting a C350, but the "special" of the month is a
C300 Sport @ $399/month, 27 months, $4544 down.
