With what you have planned, the motor is all that may break. TTing a high compression car is not an easy task and you scare me with your timeline. Doing something as intricate as this is going to take time. I just don't see how LET will be able to tune it that quickly without blowing the motor.

All that aside, the TQ converter is the weak link. they typically go in about 40K miles with the 500hp AMG motors, so i think we are still safe with these motors.

I thought I had heard that the 7g can handle 700, much less 500. I'll check. Also, I am not positive that the C350 and the E63 7g are anything alike. There are a number of 7g variants, but I think they are all rated the same, except for the one in the newest SL63.

I'm giving them as much time as they need. Dropping my car off and waiting for the call

OH, I'm sorry. That's right. that is where you are going (near?). WOW, maybe LET wants to be the C class sponsor vendor? I'd be down to get and help make lots of stuff and they could sell it.

If we are already talking low boost pressure then why not put the turbo in the exhaust piping and save the $ you would spend on fabricating a manifold and trying to find a place to put it? It may need some more time to spool given how far back it would be in the exhaust piping but you would still get good gain and for a reasonable price. A small oil pump could compensate for the lack of gravity and could be located in the trunk. Rubber intercooler piping and maybe a used 55 intercooler? They are small enough to fit our cars Im pretty sure have a look. Wastegate/BOV After that, a boost gauge and off for some tuning and you should be set. What types of turbos are we thinking about? T3/T4 hybrids? They would easily fit in the exhaust line too. This would be a good project for those of you on a budget..... I'd make sure I had a tuner onboard before I started getting parts together though.

W204 C230 2.5L V6
any progress?

Hey guys how goes it? The thread caught my attention as I'm looking for a TC/SC to install on a 2.5L V6, was wondering if any of you have had any breakthroughs with getting everything in place?

I've been in contact with several garages in the region, most of whom have done some pretty pro work that i've been able to witness the results of (2007 Toyota Land Cruiser w/ a TC and NOS keeping up with a Murcielago) and while what i'm looking for isn't quite as extreme, it hasn't made the searching any easier. Probably the biggest obstacle at the moment is that the closest professional tuning garage is 600km away in a different country =/

Either way some of you sounded like you were on a mission to get your Cs TCd/SCd and I hope your endevours have proven successful. Please do share!
