Any tips on removing the trunk spoiler?
Can anyone who has actually removed the spoiler, provide any tips on how they actually did it? Please be as detailed as possible (i.e. supplies, tools, chemicals, heat, steps taken, etc...). I know the spoiler was installed with 3M double-sided tape as I did the original install. I don't want to scratch up the paint on the spoiler or do any other damage to the car. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Heat up the spoiler and make sure you allow the glue to get warm as well. Then, Slip some dental floss under the lip and slowly saw through the glue. DO NOT try to help it by lifting up on the lip. Once the lip is removed, you can clean up the remaining tape / glue with warm elbow grease or goof off, or some other simple detergent that won't hurt the paint. The longer the fin has been on, the harder the tape will be. If it is within a few months, it should come right off.
