2014 Mercedes C250 Coupe, 1998 SL 600 sport
Yeah, but I drive in on my way to work, grab a cup of coffee, get the loaner and pick it up all cleaned and ready to go on the way home. Worth $250? Probably not but it can't get any easier then that.

Yeah, we got our $99 "A" service for my wife's C240 about a month ago at MBLN. But it was an email coupon that had the VIN printed on it so it sounded like it was for that particular vehicle.
Keep in mind, especially for cars still under warranty, the dealer will apply recalls and service bulletins when you take the car in for service. DIY or independents are not likely to do that for you.
Also, I have heard of computer upgrades that get applied at service time.
Just something to consider...

yeah i say take it to a dealer better safe than sorry or just fin a dealer that doesn't charge a arm and a leg.......i am very mechanically inclined and will always take it to the dealer......the only reason not to is custom work which is not covered at the dealer

I just had our Service A performed on our '08 C300 Lux at MB - Portland, OR.
$170 without tire rotation, since I do all the tire rotations myself.
I never thought of these guys as particularly inexpensive, but based on some of the other numbers that are showing up here, I'm beginning to think I got a deal. [Plus the free coffee, cookies, and chocolate bars with the star logo.....burp.]

Just had mine (Service A) today. Friendly (mostly), and they came in below the $275 estimate. Took longer than I thought it would, so I got a loaner and left for a few hours.
Overall a decent service experience.

I'm great full that i know someone working at my local MB dealership and they can hook me up plus they can show me how to change the oil and filter. $100 for an oil change no way a big waste.
