yeah, he's posting new ones as soon as one gets bought. Looks like 3-4 up at any given time. Don't know when he'll run out though.

They look great. I plan on keeping the lights white instead of yellow, but as you can see, the stock bulb is more yellowish white than white white. I'll be purchasing new bulbs to better match the headlight shade.

Also gonna get some touch up paint and paint the silver part of the surrounding white instead of silver to better match.

Anybody have the smoked set installed on a dark color car like Black or Steel Grey? From the pictures it looks like there is a white or silver border around the edge of the side marker. I'm wondering if is actually that way and if so if it's visible when installed.

so all these have that outer silver lining on them ?? I think that would be fine for a lighter colored car like silver of course or even white but anything else i would think it should be colored match ??

yeah. that's the only sucky thing, but like I said should be easily fixable with touch up paint. derspeed correct me if i'm wrong but it looks like yours also has some silver surrounding but a clear lense on top of it? if that's the case, i'm not sure if you can easily access that part to color match paint.

Derspeed posted instruction on another thread on how to do it. Wasn't that hard. If you have any questions, just post and I'll do my best to walk you through it.

It's just the seam or something. It's under the lense. You guys make me laugh with all of the stressing out about a line. This is all that's available. Until something else comes out we have to deal with it. Anything is better than amber and no one else will notice. The point of these lenses for me, is to let the eyes pass by them. The ambers were like a magnet.

Yea I know eh, its going to be barely noticeable as the lens isn't that much of a different color then the seam. It's not like the seam is red or anything and the lens is white lol

i still think painting them body color might be the better option like e-class/clk owners... i'm definitely giving the smoked ones a try though but i'll be waiting for derspeed's guy.

mine are sprayed with nightshade and a bit of orange is starting to come through since i never clear coated them

Wow, I was gonna wait till Der's version but after seeing your photos, I think the silver seam looks better than the white seam! It gives more depth than the plain white seam... wow!!!! nice.. I am gonna order one now! thanks for the photos!

Did you replace the stock bulbs? I thought with clear marker the yellow stock bulb will show through? but from your pics, it doesn't

Might just be how the picture came out, but the stock bulb is this pale white. A little yellowish in tint maybe, but not the bright white that I was hoping. It's the same as your rear license light. Even though the lens in clear, it still comes off pale. I'm ordering new bulbs that'll be super white in color and also a set of stealth yellows in case cops decide to be dicks about it :p

i ordered mine on thursday and they arrived on saturday...EXCELLENT service. i installed them and yes, they do have a silver "stroke" or border...i have a black car so i got the smoked but i think the clears would look nice too. i will say this...its the best thing i've done to the car from an aesthetic stand point. those old markers were the ONLY orange on the entire car and killed the lines. now with the orange gone it really, REALLY helps to pull your eye across the car with no obvious distractions. as far as losing the silver stroke, i agree with derspeed, it is what it is. you can sand, prime and spray the edges, which i might do, and which i think will look MUCH better, more so on the black cars for obv reasons, but they sit outside the well, flush, so there is really no way to work it perfectly. oh well.
