2008 down maybe but for 2009 No...
I had my ECU sent to SI to program in April but the tune did not work on my car.
I had to replace my ECU because what ever they did to my ECU the car would not start when it did before there program and I'm still waiting on them to return my money....

Now as to what they thinks it was they said that it could of been the Immobilizer system but I sent the ECU for them to correct the Issue and it still did not work.

A month now
And just too let you guy's know that I just recieved and email from SI telling me that there still waiting on some kind of info in order to apply my credit and they also said that it was wrong of me to bad mouth there company name on this forum but all I did was say the truth of what happen to me.....

SI got mad beacuse you bad mouthed them? Man if I was interested in a product and someone else already bought it and it sucked i would definately like to know. Plus its been a month and no refund. What a joke.

it's my understanding that SI gave u instruction NOT to lock the car after u remove the ECU to ship to SI...

The car has to be left unlocked while the ecu is being reprogrammed? Won't that take days if you have to ship it out. I don't have a garage or a car port. My car is parked on the street. Who would leave their unlocked car on the street for several days!

i don't wanna get middle of all this but as i mentioned before, but it seemed like this thread has customer side of the story and not the true story which is unfair to SI and even other W204 owners for false information....

All I was told was not to put the key in the Ignition not once was I told not to lock my doors or to disconneted the battery and I told them that I was new to this programming stuff and per Jesse they should of told me not to put the alarm that was there mistake. and any how i sent the ECU to them to correct and it still did not work

This is the whole story Of what happened Like i said in my pass forum post and Jesse can not say it is not true
(Well as I said before on 04/07/09 I sent my ECU from my 2009 C-350 7 Sp Auto W204 to SI to program it. after I received it four day's later because I told Jesse not to ship the ECU untill I was back from vacation.
so once I received the ECU I put it back in the car and to my surprise the car did not start so I called Jesse to inform him of my problem and after discussing the issue he said that it might be the Immobilizer that's what he called it and to send the ECU back so he can flash that section so after 2 day's I got it back and I installed it again and again the car did not start so again I call Jesse and told him the same issue was there and to my surprise he did not know why the car would not start since he has programed other W204's with out any problems so I had to call road side to bring the car to the dealer and after they check they told me that the ECU was defective and needed to be replaced and once they did the car started up so I informed this to Jesse and they are refunding me back my money. Now I like to give people the benefit and maybe the program did not work because for 2009 some new software was applied by MB but if thats the case Jesse should of known this I think)

hey guys, is there anything to make it faster other than the pricy brabus kit and other than the ecu tune? Im thinking of the gthaus exhaust. Also, does anyone know where I can get something to smoke the tailights?

For smoking the tail lights, just get them painted at your local body shop or motorsport shop. It's the better route to go than laminates.

sorry, if this is a bit noob of me, but how would i go about to get this installed on my car? Where I'm from, tuning isn't a huge thing and finding a place to do any of this stuff is beyond me! [i live in the Saskatchewan Canada btw...]

You would have to remove your ECU yourself and send it in by fedex. It would take a few days (2-3) and would mean you can't use the car for those days. Then when you get the ECU back you just pop it in and it should work. There should be a post around the forums about how to remove the ECU, I think I remember seeing it a while ago.

Well guy's here's my update on the issue with Speed Innovation:
It's been 2 months now and Jessie still has not given me back the 399.00 to my credit card like he promissed so now he's giving me no choice but to let my Attorney handle it. so if any body is thinking of doing business with Speed Innovation you better make sure you ask all the question you want and if you don't understand what Jessie is saying or you have other concern's ask again so that what happened to me won't happen to you and I say this because if something does go wrong good luck in getting you money back from Jessie with out a fight......

Your all askingfor trouble thi sis amercedes not a civic i bet boom the first this service guy will tell thank to the ecu update you did to your it not working right now your under no warrenty do you all think it worth it in 37000 dollar car to play with ecu flash update then u need to bring it in cause somethign worng they will all hold on to you becuase of the ecu update they all show in the diagostic i seen happen to other with fords voiod there warrenty on the diesel f350 is it worth it any of u got any experince ECU update with mercedes wha tdo you all think of this I would love to but same time afraid ill void the warrenty the onyl car you chip up are the AMG from an authorzed dealer mercedes will still warent youwarrenty my sale guy told me ..........

VFORCE09 .... Cant you stop payment on the credit card? I had problem back 3 years ago when I was ripped off by some shop in HB. They double charge for a pair of Brembo and told me to screw off. I called Wells Fargo and everything was cleared.

I already informed the credit card company of the issue and I also sent them the emails from Jessie saying that he was going to apply 399.00 back to my credited card so now there waiting on his responce now as to taking him to court that will be up to my Attorney and if that happens that would not be good for Speed Innovation but whats funny is that if Jessie would of done the right thing and applied back to my credit card 399.00 like he promised this all would of stop but it looks like some companys prefer to get a bad rap than to correct the problem.
