Heres my little help. You access the fogs through the FRONT. the front mesh has some screws. loosen those. You do not need to take off the front bumper to get to them. Hopefully that helps

It's easy man cause it's all cover that requires you to twist it off, unplug some plugs and take off clips

true thing about those both things. The driver side is a biatch on space... but its the exact samething... move little tubing with the sponge thing... to get more room.. Xenons are just like replacing any other bulbs. Open the twisty cap and then unhook the little springy wires holding them in. Anything else is just uncap it and then replace the bulb by pulling or turning first and pulling it out . The first time I looked in i was pretty confused cuz my last car was an old Merc. but after a while its not too bad... the worse was the wedge lights for the eyelids. I didnt want to just pull it out with a good yank... but turns out thats all you have to do :P!!

Happy swapping =)

Thats a hard one. I have 6000K and I'm thinking only LEDs would match the eyelids... gotta do the resistor mod...

I would agree that the driver side was a ROYAL pain if you have big hands. I got scratches all over afterwards. Have to feel blindly also to put the bulbs for the eye lids back in.

I did mine a bit different than what I've seen on the board. I kind of did it the BMW way and have orange bulb for the lids. For the rest, I'm putting in super white bulbs. I did it with the trunk lighting and the lighting inside the trunk itself already. Going to do the same for the side marker once I get them.

Any one knows how to change the bulbs inside the car? The ones around the sunroof button and the ones on the back? I could not figure out how to get to the bulbs.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I think there were a couple of threads on this subject. I know that member RLE dismantled (too strong a word?) the front section while hard-wiring his V1, so you might wanna try searching for posts made by him. But then there were a few more people who claimed to have found an easier way to do it. Didn't read it very closely myself, because I had/have no intention of changing them.

Good luck, and if and when you figure it out, post here to share please. With pics! And +1 on the pics request for orange eyelids. Interesting.

That's interesting. Not my style as I'm trying to remove the amber, but good idea nonetheless.
