Clearshield clear bra: Opinions?

I found a place near DC to get this done, they use clear sheild:
http://www.computercut.com/main.php/...?make=Mercedes

Anyone have any experience with this brand? any annoying uncovered spots? yellowing? pealing?

400 sounds pretty reasonable

I think MB charges 750~800 for a full body shield
I also suggest getting the back done as well.
my car only has the front done and when I went through one of the construction in progress roads, I got pebbles kicking up the back end.
now I have a few permanent dings right above the black plastic diffuser.
on top of that I got a bubble on the right front tire as well as a crack on the right front side lamps...

as for the brand I'm not quite sure what MB uses.
as for yellowing and pealing I have not experienced that on my 06 S-Class.
the only time you actually see the film coming off is after you've gone through
rough or rocky roads.
Basically the coat chips rather than your paint.

I just had a custom job for my front bumper, and the installed said it was one of the most difficult jobs ever. The AMG'ed front bumper has many complex curves and protrusions. Since it was a custom job it took him two full days to finish

If you dont mind me asking what place are you having this done? I had the front 24" of the hood, front bumper, headlights, foglights, side mirrors, door handle pockets, and the trunk area done on my wife's car for 600$. The job is a okay job, but it took the installer 2 days. I would not recommend the place I went to unless you want to start drinking waiting for your car to get completed. The DC area is funny since you can get cars for a good price but everything else will cost you plenty. I went around and looked at many B&M places and found some shady work. I did not look at any cars from mobile installers since they quotes 1000$ - 2500$ for a full front hood. PM me if you want to know the name of the place I had my done so you can stay away from them. On a side note, I had a appointment a appoitment at this other place to get the car done. I got to this place early so I could watch the installers working the magic. This installer was installing the clear shield on this Mini cooper and taking a razor blade cutting the clear shield right on the car. He was pushing so hard on the blade he was cutting into the clear coat of the car. Well I ended up not having the car done at this place and ended up going to the slowest installer in the world.

Just make sure they have already done a W204 C class car since the bumper is not fun.

I had the front bumper, headlights, foglights and side mirrors done by professional shop here in San Francisco for $350 and it took around 6 hours.

That is crazy, In 2004 when I bought my M3. Installers wanted 1200-1500$. Now the lowest price I can find in my area is 600$.
