I doubt that navi would work as is... even BMW's factory HUD is limited to arrows and numbers. They show NAV but only the barest of details. The HUDs in figher planes are green screen only as well - so it's likely a limitation of how much light one can put out and reflect back in full sunlight.
It would be cool to have something that would work - but te steps needed to put one into a dashboard would be terrible and you'd need a stick-on windshield reflector thingy.
