The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I'm sure there is thinner pads for the front as there is for the rear. it's just a hassle to remove the spring I have to take it to a shop with a spring compressor and I don't want to take the chance doing all the work and ending up disappointed if it's not much difference; coil overs are my best bet right now
another shot, front looks higher here
I have read the entire threads on this subject
My understanding is that the C200 Classic has the highest suspension standard, and my model the W204 C200 Avantgarde and AMG have a lower suspension standard ?
What would be the best H&R springs to fit Sports or Supersports
Wheels on my Merc are AMG 18 x 8.5 with 235/40/18 and 9.5 255/35/18
car ATM
Thank you for any help you can offer

Off topic but I'm trying to get my sig pic to work. Do I need a certain number of posts? It meets the parameters size wise and shows up as "current sig pic" but doesn't appear when I post. I can try to upload it from my photobucket maybe.

As far as ride quality, again I can only speak for Eibach but this is also an area that they are extremely close to each other. If I hadnt known better I would have never known that the springs had been swapped, no extra bounce or roughness beyond stock.
All in all I would say your safe to throw on the H&R's and stay within your parameters comfortably.
Wish I could help you with the Sig pic but I have no clue. Ive never heard or read that members are limited to areas until a set amount of post had been achieved. If I had to guess, it maybe set up that a moderator has to approve the pic before it goes live? Anyways, wish I could have answered your questions more directly, like I said though, the two springs compared are almost identical and the Eibachs have exceeded my expectations. I really haven't found any con's. I say go for it, I'm confident you'll enjoy the springs.

since then I just fitted some very nice C63 AMG 19 wheels
The trouble is i am having a little rubbing only on left hand side front tyre and its not the guard its where the guard and say bottom fender join theres a kind of point inside the guard towards to top front where it sticks out inside a bit , it appears the left hand side wheel is closer to the guard than the right hand wheel by about 5mm the exact problem
I have ground a little bit away inside but its still not fixing the problem
Any advice ? can i put some pads on the front to raise it up a tad ? again its the car this should not be happening and the RHS is fine so maybe its been in an accident ?
ill take a photo tomorrow
The front just seems tad too low so if i raised it 5mm it should be fine , but i need to know what size stock pads are
thank for any help
