lol for as long as i can remember, those stickers have been a part of all mercedes cars. even my dad's 1984 SEC500 has the signature.

I like the current sticker, but I have to say that a couple years ago a few of the models had a really bad looking sticker with no signature just the word Mercedes. If I had one of those it would certainly be removed and then I would head to the parts department for the new one lol.

Update to this post* There is a new sticker for 2009, its the same signature sticker, but now instead of a white background its clear. Sort of looks like you have bird poop on your windshield till you get up close to see that its actually a signature lol.

I have a 2009 C-Series and I still have the old white one. Scanning it right now into my laptop to see if I can write checks using Gottlieb Daimler's signature! 
Just noticed I have a little bubble under the sticker...I can't get it out...might have to get a new one...maybe one of those clear ones...

The old sticker cost me a few bucks a couple years ago...I'm sure probably costs more now ha ha. I've noticed there are a few different variations with stickers, the E class cars have stickers that say Mercedes in script, while the rest of the line up all seem to have the signature stickers.
