Just finished this up on my 2012 c350.
The AMG brackets and the originals *have* to be the same. Don't waste money on them if you have a facelift model. Its a pita to get the diffuser started coming off, easiest to pry from the inside near one of the exhaust pipes I found. The ebay h style tips are a little on the long side, but they can be but no problem. If you want them to stick out like an inch, no problem. Welding them in was about $100. You can get the same tips on aliexpress for just over $200 instead of the $285 or so on ebay. I'm using the OEM C63 diffuser.
Rear shot.
Tips. You can have them mounted in further if you like.

Ebay listing which uses the same images as the ones on the thread so I can only assume they're the same source.

Nice. Not a bad price for the quad tips. I was concerned about buying non oem tips as I've read some of the H tip one rusts over time. Are the oval tips in this thread the same ones you have? 2 members have reported rust in the thread. I'm hoping they're not the same as I might bite the bullet on the ones you have. If you can post link that would be great. TIA

There is also a Y pipe design out there (and they all look the same). From what I've seen those are a more difficult install.

Those look like the same ones I ordered. All the ebay tips are shipping from China and I suspect they all come from the same place. Here's the seller I got mine from.

There was one guy who bought extra stock c300/350 tips and had a custom h pipe welded. Might be an option for you. Maybe you can find a pre fabbed h pipe and have those welded on to save money.

I actually have 2 extra oem tips that I'm going to get welded to the existing but an H pipe has to be fabricated just like what the OP did. The issue I'm having is I can't find a shop in my area that's done it before so I'm kinda stuck. The already made H pipe is the easiest way to go but I don't want it to rust down the road. So for now I'm just running the quad diffuser with the stock dual tips.

That's actually pretty good. I was thinking this might be a good route to go just in case I want to go back to stock, they can just weld the OEM back on where it was originally cut. I assume they cut right at the exhaust and welded this on?

They cut right at the muffler and weld a pipe fitted to the ID of the tips to the muffler, slide the tips on and then weld it in position. I had them take about 1/2" off the h pipe length to get it where it is. You could probably reinstall the old tips in a similar way if you like.

I have a OEM C63 AMG diffuser with brackets if someone is interested in purchasing it. I am located in Calgary, Canada and will ship it out from here. PM if interested.
Also have two OEM exhaust tips from a C350.

Update: Got the tips welded today. I wanted it just a tad more in but the bend on the left tips was hitting part of the frame so I didn't have much choice. Interestingly, they decided to put a pipe inside for support rather than putting pipes over. So basically <tips> <smaller pipe> <exhaust>

Hey how long is the pipe you had made for the tips? and what are the in/out diameters? how much did it cost to get the pipe made and to be welded on? im really interested in doing this, just need to know the measurements and whatnot of the pipe, thanks

Install was about $100. As for the rest, I had about 1" cut off the pip coming off the tips. They welded in a collar to attach. Basically I brought the tips to them, said weld these on. They called me out to look at the, told them to make them more inboard. They cut some off and welded. I paid $100. Its more a matter of how far you can bring them in rather than adding pipe. Someone else mentioned they can only be brought in so far without risking rubbing on the frame.

Hi,
Can anyone confirm if the "A" makes a difference in the part# for the rear diffuser
A204 885 45 25 or 204 885 45 25 = same thing? or do I need to make sure there is the "A"
