I just received my new tail lights from another member on here and wanted to know if the trunk liner has to come out to remove/install the new lights.

it will be easier to take the nuts off.. but you gotta take off a lot of push pins.

So, to clear things up, I do have to remove the liner and all the push pins?

The light assemblies are held in place by three nuts. You must free up the rear sections of the trunk liner on each side which are held in place by pushpins.

Unplug the lights before removing the nuts.

You don't necessarily have to pull off the trunk liner. But it would definitely be easier. When I changed mine, I didn't take off the trunk liner. It was quite time consuming and you definitely need some patience

Okay, I just finished the install of the OEM tail lights (LED) and they look amazing!!!!

I also changed out the smoked LED mirror lens back to the factory clear. The fiancee likes it better.

Anyone interested in the smoked LED mirror lens at a great price???
