I installed it myself Installation is very easy so no need to go to the dealer.

The dealer quoted me $223 + tax for it but it was on backorder so I ended up getting it thru a friend who purchased one for me @ Mercedes in Germany for $150.

Yeah I was happy to pay $150 ( including shipping from Germany ) compared to $223 + tax at the dealer here

Press the frame that houses the leather boot towards the driver's side. The boot should come off, you invert the boot by lifting it towards the sunroof. You then see the base of the knob with a locking collar, just turn the dial 1/8 CW (I recall). Pull the knob upwards, not to hit your forehead or your AC control dials.

I paid significantly more for the black luxury leather than the C63 here in Canada.

They made one for the manual transmission

Part Number - A 204 267 3710 9E38

It's the same but instead of having the star on top it has the gear numbers.

This has to be one of the best purchased I've made for this car. I Love It!
My dealership put it on for FREE (took 30 seconds).

I contacted my dealer to find out if they can get me the manual transmission knob

A 204 267 3710 9E38
