They also have 2 free reflashes if dealerships overwrite the ECU.
Thanks for the info. I will check it out this weekend and looking forward to meet you at Marina Meet next Saturday.

That's cool.

This is what the owner of Signh Autosport, Jags Gill replied to me,

"The price is $649 plus tax because its a sealed unit on the 350/550 and 63 engines.

The gains are about 20hp/19lbs tq. We'll raise the rpm's, remove the speed limiter, making the shifting smoother, remove the hesitation, advance the timing in the mid range/top end, adjust the air/fuel, etc, etc.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,

Jags
p.s. If you decide to go ahead let me know if you want us to get the K&N air filters for you."

Sounds like a good deal for 20 horses, right? And when I asked for Dyno test, he said,

"I'll have to look for the Dyno sheets because we do all our tests in Germany on a real Dyno. Many tuners post Dyno sheets with results that have been fabricated."

Wtf?

Anyway, my question is how do I know if I really got the gain of 20 horses? If what he did is only remove the hesitation and speed limiter, of course the car will FEEL faster because the lag is gone, but doesn't mean that I got the extra horses. If that the case, I can just get the Sprint Booster, which is leass than $300.

Same with any ECU tune sadly....you never know unless you do a before/after Dyno. Signh does have a rather good reputation though, but yeah, only way to eliminate lingering doubts is to test it yourself.

Use Carlsson for your ECU tune and enjoy keeping everything under warranty.

ok sooo.. i happened to get my ecu tuned by a guy named "jags" that works for 3s autosports, and he uses "singh" ecu tune.. he came to NY i believe in november, soo i made a trip on over and he did the ecu tune rite infront of me. he mentioned that he couldnt use the obd2 port on our model cars, idk y.. he opened up our ecu with a razor knife, basically just cutting open the rubber seal, when he put it back together it looked like it was never touched..only cost me $545 and hes claiming 20 hp for c300.. he has dyno sheets for the c350 and c63, pretty much im not too concerned with whatever hp #'s the dyno says cuz i can definitely feel a difference in the car.. has better response, mid-range has a much better punch to it, and it just feels alot more responsive thru the rpm range.. soo for renntech to charge $1200 or watev it is, is rediculous.. azn i know i quoted you, but this wasnt intended in your direction.. hope this helps for any1 interested in an ecu tune.. i recomend "3sautosports"

I agree on the worse mpg, but I also drive my car faster now.. I think the 13 MPG while driving 160 MPH might make a bit of an unfair impact.

For any 3.5 NA motor this is virtually impossible with out extensive and expensive additional mods.

I laugh at these hp claims that never have any 3rd party hp and tq dyno charts to back it up. My questions would be 1) how much torque to I have to give up and where, 2)where in RPM range do I see the hp gains, and for how long.

Best bang for the buck in OE world is high pressure direct injection. Not an aftermarket solution though.
