Help with ball point pen mark on W204 seat (non-leather)

Not sure how or when it happened as my wife drives our '08 C300 sport 98% of the time. Today while detailing the car after a hefty two weeks of bad weather I noticed a 1/2" ball point pen mark on the lower bolster of the our driver seat. At any rate I tried a hand full of (auto-parts) type store off the shelf fabric & interior stain removal products, wiping the area for 20 minutes straight and can't get the mark to budge. Anyone know of anything that will remove a slight (blue) ball point pen mark the faux style leather? Any help greatly appreciated in advance.

I used to work in a large data center computer room. One of the jobs was running printers. When you changed an ink roller, sometimes you would get some ink on your clothers, and low and behold cheap hair spray and a paper towel were used to remove the ink from clothing.

PS Peanut butter rubbed into the ink spot on vinyl will lift the ink also.

I'm sure about ink, but this all I use for carpets and upholstery. I have been detailing cars for a while and found that Dry Clean works better than most professional grade carpet cleaners.
