Can we get underbody lights like the Brabus model?
Is it an easy DIY/any instructions?
I think it would be great to have them on when the car is in park, and when it comes to a full stop, they fade on , then fade out when you drive again (Ex: at a traffic light, at night)
Heres the kind of lights I'm talking about:

yes, you can do it. There are some non-brabus ones available if you want to go that route. Just splice the wires in with however you want them illuminated.

werd..
What you do is remove the side skirts from the car and you will have to drill into them.. fairly easy as long as your good with the wiring..

Hey guys, puddle lights are great. You wire them up to the fuse for the dome light, so they turn on and off only w/ unlock and upon opening the door. They are meant to be guide lighting so you can see where your stepping when you get out of the car. I personally opted for better lights than the ones that Brabus provides, although those are very expensive. The problem with the whole thing is that alot of road debris and dirt and snow and other stuff get kicked up on the underpart of your sideskirt and I had problems with water getting in there and lights going out. The lights I have now are great and extremely vivid. I like them alot. I opted not to put them on a switch because that isn't how Brabus does it but obviously you can also wire them to an on/off switch. So be advised, the cheap-o ones on EBay will not last, and most likely won't have enough length of wiring to do what you need done. On a C class, I would try to do 5 on each side. I don't really like the look of the rear lights as Brabus as started doing. Good luck w/ your projects and if you need any help feel free to PM.

Back when I was in school neon lighting was the in thing. A lot of show cars had it done up right where you couldn't see the tube, just the glow. Then there were the extremists that had different colors and interfaces to make the neon flash with the beat of the music playing in the car. Neon slowly faded away and then resurfaced a year or so ago with l.e.d. tubes. Work the same as neon but much more reliable. Do a web search and you can come up with many different manufacturers and either install them yourself or find a customizing shop.

Just because it can be done is not a reason to do it...
