Used 6 gold bolts. Thought the gold would complement the lip, after all my pocket was emptied, but at a reasonable price. Let me know what you guys think.

brutally honest, I preferred the carlsson rep. I understand that they're all bolt on, but the revo one looks even more so, especially the side and the front two bumper pillars. However, everyone has different tastes and sounds like you're really happy with it, so

Right on!
I like it a lot from the front. From the side, at least in the pics, the transition to the wheel well where the lip ends seems abrupt. Maybe it's just the pics??

In my opinion, I would love to have the pillars bondo'd and repainted so that it looks flushed as if the bumper came that way, but I can't afford that look, so for now this is what I'm after.

Hi Vince,
I'm glad you received it ok, also glad you liked it. At least someone do. ^_^
Hey, I don't really get what you mean the gold bolts and pillars, anything I can help on my side?
Re the black bolts, I can send you some if you want, let me know the size.
best,
Ken

Thanks Ken for the offer but I think I'm going to pick up some rivets pretty soon, awesome service by the way.
So eventually I'd like to mold it on the bumper and shave the corner lights, but just not yet.

The lip is too straight and plain, it hides and covers the sport fronts own lower "buldges" wich I think is one of the nicest things on the sport front.

Me neither. I'm not a fan of it (though it looks somewhat better now that you painted it) but it just seems like it's giving it a less sharper look (which I don't like personally).
p.s. Those are such nice wheels though man, I love it.

I agree with the bolts but that's not how I received it. There were no holes on it so it pretty much depends on how the owner wants to install it. For me, the gold bolts are temporary until I pick some black ones up, but my main concern was to keep the lip on the car, rather than hearing it be flimsy while I drive. The area of where I bolted it is a bit much, but it doesn't take anything away from the look. Rivets will be coming soon. Pretty much, I love the body line that it gives to the front end.

Just wondering and probably a development for a different version of the front lip.
What is reckon best looking or what should have been done to make it he PERFECT lip for the W204 with AMG bumper?
Comments needed.

I think the lip should be an extension of the stock sport front, as it is now it eliminates the fronts natural profile and it doesnt look as aggresive..
My 2 cents

When designing this lip, apart from carrying forward the original design cue from the RBS C63 or more of the C63 F1 Safety Car design, we tried to work a way out to keep those 2 bulges but its not really possible.

Reasons is because the bulges is not horizontally flat (actually it's very hard to explain in words) but basically if we make a lip to incorp the bulge, most likely it will end up be a lip that gives you LIFT instead of downforce. Not that it will make you take off but if it's lift, you'll certainly feel the difference.

I think the majority of the people buy these kind of lips futhermost for looks only, I really doubt that the lift or downforces from the front bumper makes any significant difference in the everyday use of the car.
