Question Speed Innovation Tuning
Hi:

Does any body know about Speed Innovation Performance Tuning and how reliable are they?

The reason I ask is because I'm new to the C-350 and I don't know that much about tuning a Mercedes. I have used the search section to fined out about tuning company's but I don't see any Speed Innovation info.

I have a conversation with Jessie from Speed Innovations Tuning base out of California and they will program my computer for 400.00 to get 22 hp and 23 tq . what do guy's think?

E200C-Fully loaded, Obsidian Black, ILS, Panoramic roof and some other bits and pieces.
You've already 272 bhp, what do you need the extra 22 bhp for?
Unless you'll be using the car for a race I'll settle with the 272 bhp and spend the 400 on a cosmetic mod.

I was going to go with SI a while back but didn't cause it seemed a bit off. They didn't accept credit cards and only accepted Western Union or Money Orders. Not even PayPal. But I would love to get there tune if I could pay by CC and I knew the numbers were legit.

$400.00 for 22 HP not bad at all, as long there numbers are legit.

Just browsing and seen this post. A member over on crossfireforum has a tune from SI and swears by it. So far one of the only SRT6's with a 185mm pulley installed that's not going lean. His forum name is brianbrave and recently ran 168 at the texas mile. I use InMotionUSA, and am very pleased as one of the fastest in the nation. Regardless of what tuning you decide, use a datalogger to monitor your AFR's. www.zietronix.com has them for a few hundred bucks.

You said you WILL be sending them your ECU. And you have to pay before sending it in. So put two and two together and it's understood that you have to pay soon or have already done so. Thanks for ignoring my last post before, if you have answered it I wouldn't have asked again. Simple question.

Its said that I'm sending my ECU to him on Monday. Why would I paid for work that Jessie has not done yet. I will pay him 399.00 once he call's me that my ECU has been programed..

22bhp may not seem much at all compared to 272 but you will notice a difference before & after...

ur basically asking ppl "why tune ur car if u already have 270+ hp...?"
