The altimeter I stumbled across gave readouts in 100 ft. increments which is interesting but not of much use.

Further, without an adjustment for barometric pressure, the altitude displayed isn't going to be accurate anyway.

I don't think it needs any barometric pressure adjustment, because it is not a pressure instrument. the readouts are part of the 3D information optained from the GPS antenna.

The altimeter on the conventional menu gives 100 ft or 50 m read outs. the one in the engeneering menu gives 1 m read outs (Euro version).

Post Engineering Mode

How do you enter Engineering Mode on the Command System? It is mentioned in these posts but no guidance on how to get there.

Press these three buttons at the same time for about 10 sec. You can leave this mode by scrolling to the end of the 2e page and select END.
Be carefull.

Unlocking video in motion

No... I wondered about this too, because I understand that it is possible. I could not readily see an option in engineering mode for this.

W204
Yeah tried that at one dealership first they said that there has to be something specifically wrong with the Comand or the car itself for the updates so i went to starteckinfo.com pulled all the applicable bulletins and went to another dealership, i told them i was having these issues and then i pulled out the bulletins i downloaded and then they did it took all day but totally worth it...i have them at home on PDF format ill post them up when i get home so you guys can use them too.
