What a nice rear end.
Took about 5 minutes to get the OEM one off and an hour to get the CF one on. I'm not 100% happy with the fit but oh well. I'm going to talk to a friend who is a structual engineer this weekend and see if there is a way to pull it in a bit tighter on the ends.

Definitely looks good on DARTH! I bow to the king of carbon
It looks like you have gaps on the sides. Are the clips not holding?

Clips are missing. There are only the two ones at the very ends and three in the middle. The rest look like they were snapped off, I looked in the box and didn't find anything. I did reinstall all four screws even though the instructions said only the two large ones were required better safe than sorry.

The only thing I would say with carbon fiber is that it might make sense to get them clearcoated? lightly spray to even match the paint- they will turn yellowish after a while!

i dont know about the diffuser, but normally when you buy cf hood or trunk, it already has a clear coat on it.

I used the force (dark side of course). Actually I was in a local parts store picking up some tire dressing an noticed this rack of chrome letters/numbers. The font was exactly the sames as MB's but the point side was a bit bigger. I picked up all the letters and numers I would need and sprayed them flat black. They are made by Pilot.
