Good luck on the install I myself haven't purchased a set yet but soon
I will. BTW did you purchase 1 or 2 pairs of the HID Kit? That way both hi and low beams are HID.

Don't need error cancellors too? So you don't get bulb error?

I have them on my car and I know of several other MBs with the same kit on. No errors, no flickering, and no issues. Ballasts are slightly larger than some of the slimmer lines, but there's plenty of places to stash it and for the price....

Would the installation of this (or any) HID kit require drilling headlamp/bulb dust cap?

@OP - can you post pix of the beam projection this kit generates?

I only went HID low beams and fogs. Didn't see a need to go high beams.

For the fogs, you need to drill, but when I had my low beams installed, they didn't do any drilling.

with ya on this one - slims dont work well, get the larger ones they draw more amps...

in the mean time, i can see properly at night - fogs and headlights are the way to go...should all be hid from the factory

plug and play...

just need to create a little slit in the headlamp housing cover to feed the wires through...

otherwise i used the ground posts on either side of the engine bay to mount the ballasts...

side note - you need to take the metal clip that locks the bulb in place and put it around the harness/bulb before you put it in since the wires will need to feed out...

You might want to check your bulb or the fuse.

can't wait to see it! i'm thinking, maybe i'll purchase 3 pairs? at least i would have covered all the lights. btw, can someone tell me who carries the smoked sidemarkers. i would rather use the clear marker but because of the color of my car, i feel that they don't match.
