Opinions on the Roof Spoiler

Let me hear your opinions on the roof spoiler. Anyone got pics? Stories? I'm considering putting one on. I went to the dealership and asked about theirs... they said they also use double sided tape to secure it I thought everyone was crazy... haha. I guess not.

Well some of the members who bought them through the group buy lost theirs while driving. I purchased mine from a different seller as he couldn't do a CF version. Mine is solid not hollow like the OEM ones so I covered the whole bottom with 3M tape and it isn't going anywhere.

are they all that flush against the window? It seems to be very flat and loses some of the design of it. Who did you buy it from? And what you mean by hollow, as in the bottom of it doesn't have a flat piece the entire way but cut out instead?

And yours is CF, right? How does it look with black? Do you like it better than black? What do you recommend?

if you want to get a roof spoiler, go aftermarket. Its the same thing as an authenic, at half the price. I ordered my amg style truck spoiler from this guy, and you cant tell the difference. And he paints it for you.

My recommendation for roof spoiler is go aftermarket and use 3M tape, use two layer of tape, due to the spoiler is empty inside and has air, I made a little drill in each corner where the hot stay inside.

it was about 2 weeks, because it takes a couple of days to paint, but its well worth the wait..
