Is it possible to turn off the daytime running lights?
Just wanted to know if it was possible to turn off the daytime running light. Not sure what's the problem but my low beam seem to fail unless i turn on my low beam and fog which is weird.

ohhh hmm. well when i turn it to 12 o clock, the left beam start to flicker and then die out. You think there something wrong with my HID? Tho when i put it to 2 o clock, it work perfectly...

2 o'clock should be just brows and sidemarkers. If you have any lights on at 12 o'clock, your wiring is screwy and I'd ***** at the person who installed your HIDs.

if you were in Canada, you'd be stuck with it=)
for all others - from the instrument dash / multifunction display :: Settings -> Lighting -> Daytime Running Lamps -> Disabled

This sounds like an issue with an aftermarket HID kit having been installed in a non-BIX car. And then not coming clean on the issue/mod. $0.02

You can turn them off through the menus in the center instrument cluster. Push the righ arrow to the "settings" position and then the up or down arrows to select a choice for lights or daytime running lights. US default position is off so they must have been turned on at some point.

Sorry to revive a old thread but you can disable the DRL by taking out the relay. This is for Canada once again. I'm doing this is because I upgraded my fog light into the strip led day time running light

I have a Canadian CLK55 '03 and need to diagnos my HID's and need to disable DRL's.
