ctgilles eyelid LED feedback thread.
i'll either try to get a pair through warranty or just run one led in the eyelids... it looks better than i thought not too blue when one one bulb is lit... and also the whole eyelid housing pretty much lights up... no biggie.

But I don't like the agressive undertone you have there. I have not decieved you and this was "for my fellow forum users" for the help I got here numerous times. If I had known about this or the way you seem to hold me (partially) responsible, I wouldn't have organised it.
The problem seems to be the battery and its voltage. I bet if you keep it below 13.2V and heat it up, you will keep your color. My battery is quite low in voltage because I always do short runs. I have tested it, it's at 13.34V with just contact on (no engine start).
Sorry guys I have spent much money on LEDs too but they work for me and even if they would change to vic's color then I wouldn't mind. I'm just going to put some 6000K burners in the Zenons.

If you want to sell you can contact AZN_C300 or numerous other people and it will cover your losses.
I am already sorry for organizing this. Was just trying to help.

I guess I sort of am in the same position as I brought the 4300K LED up to the table, however, I clearly said that I only had time to test them very briefly as my own car hadnt arrived, and the group buy was completely without my involvement.
Its not the money that bothers me, the issue is that I asked you if they change and you said they didnt.
If I only had gotten a hint of they shifting color I would never have bought them and spent that time ordering Polargs instead.
The voltage may be the reason for this phenomenon, but if you had any suspicions about this you could have mentioned it before the group buy.
and my bad vic... saw the line assumed it was the sig... you have every right to not be happy tho... im not to impressed either since one of mine blew.
gilles is just the easiest to blame... and that usually means he is not deserving of it.

................................^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.............................they apparently get extremely hot
so now i just have to deal with the error for left and right lights as i'm only running 1 in each eyelid... looks better than the pics... the camera doesn't get the reflected light too well.

VIC if you could please direct me to those polargs you mentioned for the eyelids i would very much appreciate it!
ctgilles, the anger is not directed at you but at the manufacturer or the guy that sells them to you...
looks like he is not willing to take responsbility of warranty claim nor the change of color, we need a resolution soon...

Look I posted my results with pictures. From what I see they might change color but less than the other LEDs. Some people are happy, others aren't.
I am happy and have run them longer then anyone here, in a hot environment and with DRL on even going to the south of France next month with them and I am sure nothing will go wrong.
Getting your money back from the (Chinese) manufacturer is not a viable option. Same as with the Xenonkungen LEDs, these slight colorchanges are not warranted and are down to individual cars, if you hook them to 12V then I am sure nothing will happen and results seem to vary from car to car, from user to user.
This has been my last group buy for ever. Too much hassle and then an angry mob. If you don't like the LED, I am very sorry use them for number plate light or sell them to AZN_C300 or yarukc or GreenArcher85.
I'm just a student that tried to do good. But I am happy that some users are happy with their LEDs and I am sure that the others will find a solution or a buyer for their LEDs. It's an avalanche, like the third time we're not 100% happy so you guys are 300% angry at me. That's understandable but instead of all the bashing, just acknowledge too that I just tried to do good. And I did good for me, I am happy with my LEDs. It seems LEDs are not a solution for our W204s like they are for Audis.
A lot of people including me was glad to see the 5000K.s as they according to you would work and not change color at all.
Strange that a lot of people who has gotten their LED.s are noticing a color change almost immidiately, but you still havnt seen anything?
You can always sell your LED to another forum member or try a 6000K HID burner. I have now given up any hope of finding a LED solution that matches stock HID enough and that produces consistent results.
I will contact the manufacturer again, maybe they know a reason for this but I still do not understand why some people have more blue then others

Murphy's Law?

Yes, €60 on the first LEDs, €55 on Xenonkungen LEDs, €40 on various LEDs and resistors, €60 on these LEDs AND €100 on PIAA LEDs. And I'm a student without job... I don't care about the money but for me it was all about finding that golden one but I have given up on that.
I have second chance exams coming up and a month working at the Belgian Post. Going to set my mind on something else this is depressing because I want to just undo it if I had known about these inconsistent results.
